The Fourth Commandment "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy....."
"...Six days shall you labour and do all your work but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God". On the seventh day we are called to rest and to worship God.
The Third Commandment "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain...."
"....for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain". The original meaning of the word for "take" has a broader meaning than just misusing the name in speech which is so common now-a-days. The word also meant to "bear" or to "carry, and therefore, we are not to bear the name of God in vain. Consequently, as children of God and his "ambassadors" we are to avoid hypocrisy and live lives that are worthy of our calling.
The Second Commandment
The second of the sermon series looking at the Ten Commandment. This sermon focuses on the second commandment in Exodus 20 verses 4 - 6. "You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the waters below....
William Tyndale Talk

THE FIRST COMMANDMENT - Exodus 20: 1-3
This was the first sermon in a series on the Ten Commandments and looks at the first Commandment "You shall have no other gods before me". The Ten Commandments were not given as a "ladder" by which we can reach God but as response to what God has already done for us.

The Ascension of Jesus
The ascension of Jesus marked the end of his earthly ministry and the beginning of his heavenly ministry. We should praise God for Jesus now, our heavenly King, our heavenly host preparing a place for us; our high priest making intercessions for us, and empowering us daily with the Holy Spirit for works of service.
The Rich Fool
Jesus tells the parable of the Rich Fool to explain that life does not consist in an abundance of possessions, and to warn against storing up things for ourselves and not being rich towards God.
The Great Banquet
Jesus told the parable of the great banquet where a man invited many people to a great banquet but when the banquet was ready those invited made weak excuses as to why they could not attend. The master of the house was angry and invited the poor, crippled, blind, and lame instead. None of those invited were able to taste the banquet.
"Fishers of men"
Jesus appears to seven of the disciples by the sea of Galilee. After a night's fishing the disciples had caught nothing, but when they followed the advice of Jesus to fish on the right side of the boat they caught a full net of fish. Jesus then invites them to come and have breakfast with him. Later the disciples will be sent out to be fishers of men.
On the road to Emmaus
On the first Easter Sunday Jesus walked with two of his disciples on the road to Emmaus, however they did not recognise him until he shared a meal with them and he took the bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to them. Their eyes were opened.
